I did really like this bag. My child is out of diapers at this point, so I was buying this as a "life" bag (work, gym, daycare dropoff/pickups, out to places with kid, somewhat frequent airplane travel). I think it's actually a little lighter than advertised. Without all the nonessential straps, it is right around 2 lbs. It has tons of organization features that other reviewers have described. I am really impressed that they hit all three important carrying modes: backpack, crossbody (for those times you already have a backpack crib or carseat on your back or to throw over the stroller handles or a chair back), and, most amazingly, luggage sleeve.
For the flaws:
1. Major, most important: My 13.3" PC laptop did fit into the bag but could not fit into any of the compartments along the back. It was kind of loosely sitting right in the middle body of the bag. This made it just really uncomfortably balanced and killed the usability for me (therefore returned).
2. The bag is perhaps overly structured. I appreciate a bag that can stand up and is easy to find things in - which is why I was looking at diaper bags to begin with - but in my photos the bag is completely empty and looks and feels stuffed. It's not stiff, the outside material is very soft, but it's a little like a puffer jacket where it always goes back into pillow mode.
3. For me, the bag is too large. I'm 5'2" 120 lbs. For a bag this large, I expected the laptop to fit comfortably along the back. Even if it did, I may…
