I have waited 4 months to review this bag because I wanted to make sure it could survive the hell I put my bags through.
Spoiler alert: it did.
I don't understand how I can shove this bag full of sweaty gym clothes, wet towels, stinky runners, and soaked swimmers, and it still has that clean look and smell. Sorcery?
I took this bag to Europe for a month. As my only bag. I had conference clothes, toiletries, makeup, runners, hiking boots (yes), hiking gear, underwear, two jumpers, three books, headphones, bottle, and more. I repeat, this is the only bag that I took. Let that sink in. I went hiking in the rain and mud in the Faroe Islands in this bag. I sat in snobby conferences with this bag. And I could take it as carry-on. This bag is Mary Poppins' bag. How it held 5+ changes of clothes, I do not understand. And it was Autumn! I had summer and winter outfits. And - get this - it still looks new. There were moments where I only got the zips shut through prayer, but they are industrial strength, monster zippers. That's the only explanation for how they didn't burst. They didn't even look strained. How though?
Okay, so now I should mention things that were not 100% perfect. Firstly, the twisty, clasp thing fell off before I left for Europe. My super Father (the fathers, amiright?) screwed the clasp back on and glued it with aldarite 2 part epoxy (yes, I did call him to get the name). After this, it survived the Europe Cauldron of Fire and is still going strong.
